Extension Education Code: HH-0500.1850 Programs, usually at the college or university level, that offer instructional activities for academic credit beyond the confines of regular classes on campus in order to serve a wider clientele. The courses available through extension are often offered on evenings and weekends and may be identical to those provided in regular university settings, but may include short courses, exhibits, telecourses, correspondence programs, seminars and institutes.
